I imagine that the next game will be a bit tougher for them. The Euros have yet to mesh. However, I did like North America's speed game and dogged determination. They were a very hungry team. It should hold them in good stead.

Speed kills at any level.

I like team North America: young, talented guys who are looking to prove themselves. Recipe to do some serious damage

Will be interesting to see how they do without a veteran presence, though. But hey, those young guys in 1980 beat the savvy vets, so who know...

Those savvy Euro vets sure didn't bring much to the game, so...does it matter?

Screw skill and talent, it's the things that we can't measure that allow games to be won or lost...

My sources (the voices in my head) tell me Ralph Krueger had Team Europe wear nametags and go around the room introducing themselves as they got geared up before the game last night.

"Hello! My name is Milan...an interesting thing about me ummm, I was once traded for Dany Heatley..."

They looked good and very fast, but EU is probably the weakest in the tourney.

Chara against this team was tough to watch, was getting burned left and right.

Team EU looked like they are going through the motions. Young guns have something to proove and others playing for their countries, what exactly is eU playing for? Do all anthems play if they win?

I think they just play Deutschland Uber Alles. They're used to that over there.
